Default 2003 Wiper Motor or Circuit Board Removal

It seems my wiper motor (or circuit board) has shorted out. The wipers will not turn off in any position.

I was in the procees of trying to remove the wiper motor before I came to the forum. I logged on be cause I was trying to remove the wiper arms - with no success. I removed the nut (obviously) but is there something else I need to do to remove them.

Which leads me to my next question. I started reading the forum and read about replacing only the circuit board, could this be all I need? Would I have to remove the wiper arms to get to the circuit board?

Thanks for any help
