Hi, My Silverado is giving me fits. It shakes violently. I replaced clutch with a LUK clutch kit, slave cylinder, and fly wheel. It is a manual 5 speed. Put all back together and still shakes real badly. Any ideas are appreciated.

 

need more info on when it shakes, like what conditions have to be met

 

It shakes as soon as it started, in gear or in neutral. Very violent, gear shift rattles like crazy, I can see hood shaking.

 

even with the clutched pressed in? could it be a misfire?

Ok, took back to mechanic. He said he took clutch, fly wheel, pressure plate and slave valve out and replaced. It now just shakes and vibrates at low speed in 1st and 2nd gear. A little shake in 3rd gear. He said it just needs to be "broke in". I have put 400 miles on it. It still shakes and vibrates pretty bad. Only when in gear. In neutral there is no rattle, shake, or vibration. Do you think I should take to a Chevy Dealer? It just isn't right. Thanks for your input.
