2004 Silverado 4L60E lockup

Here's a bit of an odd one for you guys...
My daily driver is a 2004 Silverado 4.3 4L60E base model truck with about 120k miles.
Recently the engine light came on with a message to tighten the fuel cap. I've narrowed that down to a solenoid so that won't be a problem to fix.
The new problem is, every couple of days, the brake indicator on the dash comes on while I am driving and the torque converter unlocks. When I pull out from a stop, the trans slips then runs about 200-300 RPM too fast. Oddly, as I pull out from said stop, the heater/ac blower motor stops momentarily then comes back on as I continue on. Last Friday, this started and when I stopped the engine, it would not even crank over again. It took me unplugging the battery to reset the ECM before it would start again. It ran perfectly till Sunday, then happened again, except this time the engine started back up just fine. I reset the ECM again and everything seems to be fine so far.
I haven't scanned again yet, I'll have to get on that this week.
Any thoughts on this?
Thanks,
Mike
