2005 Silverado 2500HD Sputtering A/C fan
I have a 2005 Silverado 2500HD. It has the automatic thermostatic controls. I set the temp on 60 degrees when I start thevehicle and the A/C takes about 30 seconds to cut on (it has never done thisbefore). Then while driving the fan mayshut off, sputter or change speeds from high to low. Granted the setting the thermostat on “auto”it will self-adjust the fan speed but this is not a normal action for theA/C. Obviously I was wondering if therewas an answer to the issue shy of just replacing parts. The 3 things I have read that could mostlikely be the culprit are: 1- faulty blower resistor; 2- the A/C blower; or 3- the digital A/C Control Module.
