I'm having a problem with the power door locks. When I come out to the truck first thing in the morning, the remote will not unlock the doors. Have to put the key in the door. Once in, the door lock switch (driver side) seems to work fine (lock/unlock). Close the door. Try the remote and this time it will work. It acts like it needs a primer. The remote battery is old (original) but does read 3 volts. The other thing I noticed is when I locked/unlocked the doors sitting in the driver seat using the switch on the door, the lock or mechanism in the cab door makes a 'wheasing' sound. Something I've never heard before.

Any ideas?

...it was the remote battery. I changed it out and now the remote/locks work fine. I wonder what my meter was reading?
