Default 2006 k1500 4wd 5.3 liter 4 door 132,000 miles

Replaced my front differential 2 years ago at 115,000 miles
4wd ran flawlessly. 4 buttons on the dash
last week i noticed a drip and i got the dreaded pump rub. Bought a merchant auto pump rub kit for 450.oo. While pulling the transfer case it fell the last 6 inches, straining the remaining wires that i did not unhook. Replaced the pump no problem, kinda easy. Re-installed the transfer case, checking and cleaning the wires, looked ok. Took for a test drive, 2wd no problem, 4wd low no problem, but takes a little longer to engage and makes more noise. It will not engage into 4wd high or 4wd auto. The dash light will blink for 5 seconds and i felt the 4wd actuator motor on the transfer case, its trying but not engaging.

I am stumped. Has anyone encountered this?? When it fell it did land on the actuator motor, and it did strain the wires. Any ideas??

Thanks for any and all replies.
