Default 2007 silverado LTZ Navigation install

Hello,
Im new the the forum so please help me out. I have read a few posts and tried to search my problem and noticed some repeat names in the Nav threads so please help me out guys. I have a 2007 Silverado 1500 CC LTZ with Bose but it only has the 6 disc player. I found a refurb Navigation/DVD player online that was updated and tested at Gm P/N 15882766 they also sent me tha antenna. I took the radio and my truck to the local GM Dealership and they called a place from Gm called Part tech and they said my radio is not compatible with my truck. The person I bought it from said it works for tahoes, Suburbans, denalis, avalanches, and silverados. Do I tell the dealer to install it or does anybody know what part numer this radio is. My truck Vin is 2GCEK133X7157653 if it is helpful.

I am planning on doing this as well. Did you get an answer to your problem? I also have a 2007 Silverado LTZ w/Bose and from what I've read in the forums we should be able to add an OEM nav. I'm thinking of getting the 2010 model with USB support, but if it won't I would like to know now instead of after I shell out money.

Man I have an '07 silverado LT w/o bose and i upgraded to a nav unit and it has been working just fine, the only little issue that i have is the louder chimes and turn signal, but by now I'm so used to it that I hardly notice is louder than it originally was really, now did you take the installation instructions that shawn vw posted a while ago to the dealer? 'cause honestly they don't know what the heck they are doing, that is why they had to call someone else, in my case I gave them those instructions and no problem at all, that was at the second dealer, 'cause at the first dealer that I went to they told me that GM would not release the code to install the head unit in my truck, what a disappointment!!! but after a little research i found this useful forum!!!

I don't even have the unit yet. I'm also trying to get the OnStar unit with bluetooth, but GMPartsCheap.Com rejected my order because they say its only a fire or theft replacement.
