2007 Silverado NNBS/GMT900 Passenger Side Mirror Pod Question
When I bought the truck here last year, the only two flaws were the broken console lid latch which is common, and the passenger side mirror pod was broken on the side of the mirror towards the cab. I'll show a picture of the area I'm talking about for visual reference. I was curious if there was any way to replace just the broken plastic part, or if it required getting a new mirror assembly. I have the DL8 mirrors currently.
Here is a picture of the broken mirror pod:

klatt_89 Welcome to the forum...
I have not seen the mirror bezel listed separately for sale, but you could check GM Parts Direct... I suspect that the mirror body will need to be purchased... could check a salvage yard and see if you can remove the bezel... I suspect not though, as it is probably a plastic weld....

Thanks for the welcome!
Like you said, it doesn't look like it's a separate assembly. I may look to see what I can find at the local salvage yards when I go looking for the latch for the console. I may also look into upgrading to auto-dimming drivers mirror and potentially mirrors with turn signals. Although I don't have the power fold out option so I need to research more on DL8 to DL3 Mirrors.

I have my eyes on a set of DL3's on there. Does anyone know of a way to check if the wire for the auto-dim feature is wired to the mirror plug? I do have the auto dimming rear view mirror. I've checked the passenger side and the wire for the turn signal is present. I'm probably going to not do the power folding as it's a hit and miss, although I can always leave that plug in the door somewhere.
