My 2008 Silverado remote starter has a short range problem. Has anyone got a fix for this?

 

explain a bit more, does it work from far away but not while close to it. id prolly have the dealer take a look

 

My truck has this remote start option. I always thought, "what a waste of money". Well I still think that, but I use the option anyway.

Mine seems to work close range and from at least 100yds distance.

 

My remote works fine up to about 75 feet. beyond that it doesn't. I took it to a dealer and they said it worked fine, has all the updates and all that. They also said that if it's not satifactory there is nothing I can do about it. Has anyone heard of an antenna booster for this model. The 2007's are probably the same.
