I have a 2009 2500HD truck with a 6.0L V8 and I am getting a P0340 camshaft position sensor A - Bank 1 circuit malfunction code. This started when I went to crank my truck and the starter hung up for a few seconds. Is this something indicating a starter problem or something else.

Sorry to hear you are experiencing this issue with your truck. The engine cranking for an extended period of time during start-up is a symptom of the code. I recommend having the vehicle inspected by a technician for an official diagnosis to determine the cause of the code. They will be able to offer more information after inspection.
If you would like assistance locating a technician near you, please PM me your zip code.
Please keep us posted.
