2010 Silverado Navigation Radio Issues
Bought a used 2010 Silverado from a wholesaler and the Navigation/Radio Display didn't work. Radio, rear DVD display, CD, voice commands from steering all worked. Just the display on the unit was out. Dealer agreed to order a replacement. Unit order is a 25966513. OEMRadios sent a 20883054, which they said is the newer replacement. Put the new unit in but the backseat DVD display doesn't work and the backup alarm sensors don't work either. Are these two units really interchangeable or do you think there is a problem with the new unit?

Found out the radios are interchangeable but the replacement requires programming of features by the dealer. Don't understand why some of the OEM parts folks can program the VIN okay but don't do the other programming before they ship. Oh well, I'll check with my local GM shops.
