Default 2012 Chevy Z71 Crew Cab Question

I recently purchased a truck and noticed something has been removed underneath. In one of the pics you can see a severed tube/wire on the right side of the pic. It leads up to the cap pictured. Any ideas as to what was removed? Should I be concerned?

Sorry...cap pic wouldn't upload. It's a chrome cap that says "Install in dry area away from moisture". It's located in the engine compartment near the passenger side wheel well. I can't see that anything else is hooked up to it. Any input is greatly appreciated.
