2014 Chevy Silverado Z71 Towing Question

I have a 2014 Silverado Crew Cab, Z71, 5.3 with 3.08 rear end (short box). Currently, I'm towing a 4,000lbs travel trailer with about 1,000lbs of cargo. The truck pulls the 5,000lbs just fine. I'm wanting to upgrade to a bigger trailer but I'm curious how the truck will preform towing a 6,300lbs trailer with about 1,000lbs of cargo. Do you think it will pull the 7,300lbs fine? I live in Texas so it's pretty flat and I only tow the trailer about 6 times per year, no more than 100 miles at a time (we just visit the local state parks around DFW). The owners manual shows my truck with 3.08 rear axle should be able to tow 6,600lbs. I'm thinking I should be fine no further than I will be towing it. I will invest in a good sway bar and weight distributing hitch as well. My 2012 Silverado had a rear end of 3.42 so I just assumed this one did when I bought it. Stupid me, next time I'll check before signing the paperwork.

i think you should be able but be careful make sure to get a brake control if not integrated from the factory . that gear is not much for towing ,your going to really work it .

Thank you. The trailer is actually going to gross out right under 7K so I'll only be over by 300 - 400lbs so I'm not too worried. I already got a brake controller installed. Thanks for the input.
