2014 Silverado Fuel Filter
Hello to all. I have a fairly new (18K) Silverado 1500. Truck has been running flawlessly. Friday night I filled up with fuel at a brand new gas station. Not sure if that was to blame, but drove about 60 miles Saturday on the new tank and when I got home it started running very rough. Now it's really running rough. The check engine light is either blinking or constantly on. The traction control light is on. According to the dash it no longer reverts from V4-V8 any longer and only stays in V8. My first thought is to change the fuel filter. Any info or advice on its location and procedure?

the engine is misfiring; get the codes read and post them here. the powertrain fault is disabling the traction control system. Do it soon as flashing mil means possible catalytic convertor damage could result from the misfire condition.
there is no serviceable fuel filter on returnless fuel systems other than the entire in tank fuel module assembly.

what does the map data read from your scan tool with the engine off and at idle? What is the elevation where you live?
to test the map wiring do this:
-unplug the sensor
-key on/engine off
-test for voltage at pin1 grey/red wire...should have 5 volts
-key off...test for grd at pin 2 black/green wire
-key on engine off...with a jumper wire, jump pins 1 to pin 3 green/white...scan tool should read 4.8 range
if all that checks out, the wiring is good and we now know the sensor is good...there is some other problem causing the dtc to set. an inspection of the pcv, air ducting would be a place to start. Is there any aftermarket products on this truck?
