Default 2014 Silverado MyLink

Has anyone had a problem linking there Android phone to the Chevy Mylink by way of USB connection? My Samsung Galaxy S4 will connect with Bluetooth but will no connect when using the USB connection. I am trying this in a new 2014 Silverado .

My 2014 Silverado LTZ MyLink usage with my Galaxy Note 4... can pair phone with MyLink and I can both make calls via voice command and play audio but not via voice. With USB... no joy at all. I contacted support at the 855-478-7767. They were pleasant enough but unfortunately did not have a thing to tell me other than it only works with iPhones and that the reason was the cable on the iPhone is a lightning cable. My Samsung Galaxy Note 4 apparently does not use a lightning cable. When I asked for some insight as to whether I might expect an update at some future date, I was told the manufacturer was keeping it a secret. That response struck me as very odd. So.. again... pleasant support... did not get answers I hoped for... got some excuses that did not sound right.. and no indication as to hope for future resolution. At least I accomplished confirming my contact details.

Ended up at a dealer and they confirmed that can not use USB to connect to MyLink. Must use Bluetooth to connect to play music from Samsung GS4 and anyother Android phone.
