4L60E sudden transmission leak?
Hey guys, my 1992 C1500 5.0L was stolen a few weeks ago but was just recently recovered.
I've never noticed an issue with my transmission before, nor has there been any leakage since I bought it almost 2 years ago. the transmission bottom has always been dry and I've never had to "top it up".
I was at the estimator's this morning and there was transmission fluid leaking. Would it be just luck of the draw that a seal wore out now or is it possible the seal blew under extra pressure? Also are there any weak spots cracking could have occurred?
Thank you, any bit helps!

Well if they beat it then yeah best to let Inc know it wasn't leaking before hand seeing how it was stolen if you got covage they may pay
But like u said it could be luck of the draw
best thing if Inc won't do anything pull drain an look at magnetic disk replace seal
