Default 4wd doesn't work in high 97 K3500

I just bought a 1997 K3500. It works in 4 low but not 4 high. I checked the fuse and its fine. If its the acuator, can you tell me where its at? I read somewhere its on the back of the front axle but I think I found it on the front , passenger side. Thanks for the help and Merry Christmas!

Default Same problem

Hey not sure if you had any luck but i kinda have the same problem on my 2001 . When i push the 4hi button light just flashes then clicks back into 2hi , people say there is an actuator on the front side of transfer case and one on the passenger side back side of front axle .Not sure which one is not working .Do you know how to test them? Keep me updated if you change it i`m sure i will be doing both of mine this week Good Luck
