Default 65 C10 Chevrolet

Hey there,

I have a 1965 Chevrolet C10 with an inline six but I don't know exactly what displacement it is. Somehow there was a bolt dropped into one of the cylinders and the head ended up getting cracked. I want to completely rebuild the engine but I don't know the exact motor! I have a couple numbers that I've taken off the head because that's the only part accessable to me at the very moment. If anybody could help determine the motor size or deirect me in the right path I would be much appreciative. Here goes the numbers that I have retrieved from the head: GM2, J294, 890, 3864890, C1Z--? If anyone can help that would be great!! Thanks

According to the head casting number, 3864890, you have a 292. For 100% positive identification, try to get the casting number off the block.
