Default 77 chevy

hey guys i just picked up a 1977 chevy with a rebuilt 400 small block. i dont know what tranny is behind it. do you think its a turbo 400. i want to build it to be a trail truck. what should i do it to it first? i already got a 4 inch lift with 35's.

If its a 3-speed auto more than likely its a TH400. maybe a TH350 , I haven't seen a TH350 in very many trucks though. Since you just got it. I'd reccomend changing all the fluids and check the condition of everything. The ring and pinion, the color of the tranny fluid, everything. See what our getting into and what needs to be fixed before you through to much money at it.
