Default 89 1500 lift question

i was told you can crank your torsion bars and get a 2" lift well i was wanting to crank the torsion bars 2" then buy 2" axel blocks to get a 2" suspension lift and then buy a 3" body lift can i put 35x12.5x16 tires on the stock rims and will everything clear has anyone done anything like this

Well I don't know much about Silverado lifting but I have done almost a dozen on Jeeps.

Sounds go me like you want to try and save costs. I wouldn't do it that way. Your suspension will get stiffer.

I would suggest going with a kit and doing all the lift at once. IE: 6" suspension. You can always get coil spacers. 1.5" lift for pretty cheap about 70$ or so.
