my 10 bolt pumpkin is moving on the tubes i cant find the same axle in my state!!! my question is can a 14 bolt have the same gear ratio or are there major differences i should worry about?

there are few 14 bolts with 3.73 gears, which typically is the only gears it would share with a 10 bolt. you'd run into driveline ujoint not matching as well, which could probably be solved with an adapter joint. brake lines would most likely be different. are the tubes broken or just loose? maybe a shop could take a look and possibly repair. the 10 bolt is one of the most common for these trucks. 88-99 were pretty much the same. just make sure gearing for front and back are same.
