I have a 1996 Chevy C1500 truck with 350 engine that will not start unless I pour gas directly in the intake, but dies once that fuel is burned. I hear the fuel pump start up when ignition is turned on and I replaced the fuel filter but still no luck getting it to start. When this first happened it died on the highway, after coasting about 50 yards it started back up and cut out some over the next few miles then died again and will not start. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
