Ok so i am working on a 1996 chevy k1500 it has the 5.7L vortec.
I got the truck with no engine in it, so i got a good running engine out of a wrecked truck, got the wiring harness and everything. I went through the engine and cleaned it all up checked all my specs and everything and everything looked good, replaced what needed replaced internally, so i dropped the engine in the truck ran all the new wiring harness, dropped in my distributor. i cant get it to start and im pulling my hair on this one. i have spark coming out of the coil but nothing out of the distributor i have checked my timing several times now i have checked distributor placement a few times everything is right where it should be i am so lost right now. any help on this would be greatly appreciated thanks
