My 96 Silverado 4x4 has electrical issues. I bought it couple weeks back. First it started with the key and everything worked but the po had a push switch on the dash also. Well couple days later won't start with key but will with push button wired to the relay under the hood. Also now the 4x4 push buttn won't engage the 4x4, the gauge cluster is actin funny because the left turn signal and high beam light are always on but dim and when the left signal is on they both flash and the rpm gauge moves down to zero and back up to idle rpm in the same sequence as the flasher. No brake lights either. I ran the test light on a few things. All fuses are good, i checked power in dash fuse box with ignition on and when I put the test light on the one i'll assume is for the starter the truck started. I think it might be a bad ground somewhere but not sure where to look. O r could it be the ignition switch or multifunction switch actin funny. Air bag light also flashes now and engine light is on.Or could it be the bcm or computer?

does it have a push button ignition sswitch? thats what i installed in mine
