96 K1500 Hard starting
Ok, so let me give a little info on this truck.
Its a 96 K1500 with the 5.7L V8
I bought this truck for almost nothing from a guy that let it sit for 4 years.
I got it since it was worth more as scrap then he was asking and if I could get it going it was a rust free nice truck.
To get it going, I had the local shop put a new tank and fuel pump (the whole assembly) in it. I replaced the fuel filter, the plugs and wires, Battery.
My symptom: It cranks for 5-10 secs before it catches. Then it stumbles for a second or two until it gets up to speed. After its running it sounds great and has no issue. No codes!
I have tried to hold the pedal down full and half way and even pump it. I have tried to turn the key right to start and tried to wait for it to prime. I can hear the pump when I turn the key for a few seconds.
It doesn't matter if its the first start of the day or if I just shut it off to go into the store for 5 minutes.
I am wondering if it could be the distributor or anything else you people could suggest.
I have the tools to check most things but not the knowledge of how to check them. So your advice and maybe a little info on how to follow it would be great.

Might be intake leak, once running spray a little starting fluid
Around base of intake to see if Rpms pick up. If so, reseal the intake. Common
Problem over time. Be careful that you don't ignite the stuff though.

Get this setup or something like it and there is a schrader valve on the fuel lines on the drivers side of the engine looks like a tire valve that's where you check it should be 62-66 psi key on engine off and not how fast it goes down
