96 K1500 no OD or 1st Gear
Ok, first of all hello everyone from Ohio.
Sorry if im not in the new member forum but ive been trollying hundreds of posts looking for anyone with a similar issue with their 4L60E.
My truck is a 1996 K1500 W/T 4.3L 4WD.
Trans rebuild as of 2 weeks ago(blew the forward sprag and 208k wasnt helping either)
My main issue is, and was before trans took a dump was it launches in 2nd and has shift flare between 2nd and 3rd.
The stored codes are P0700, P1192, P0430, and a few random evap and converter codes.
Ive checked the bridged grounds on the computer for the updated harness diagram, and its all fine and dandy in there.
I still dont get 1st even if I manually pull the selector into low.
Ive read some on a pink 'hot' wire that runs 12v to the trans, so i plan to check on that, and as well as adding some grounds to the body and frame.
any insight at this point would be very much appreciated, it would just be nice to have 1st and 4th so i dont cook 2nd and tach out goin down the highway.
