donno what u doing and who are they that told you to do all this. you do this only if you bought a new transmitter/fob. after battery replacement, you need to re-synch the fob:
stand close to your vehicle and press and hold the lock and unlock buttons on the transmitter at the same time for 7 seconds. door locks should cycle to confirm sychronization.
'ts that simple. fob is coded into the ECM. you need to teach ECM how to recognize a fob only if you bought a new one.
