I have a 99 1500 the ads motor runs all the time. I had to pull the fuse to prevent the motor from burning up. I read somewhere that the hook harness might be bad and was wondering if you guys have any details.

In all my experiences with the ABS motor running all the time it's been the motor itself, but I've never had this problem on a Silverado. I looked on all data at work today, but I didn't find anything like a TSB or anything else about a ABS motor running all the time. I would wait to see if anyone else has any suggestions about the cause of your problem. Sorry I wasn't much of a help.

I have a 03 Silverado that the ABS motor kept running i took it to the dealer they said it could be either the module on the ABS or the motor itself after replacing the module for $400 it stopped the motor from running constantly but the resistance was still high in the motor. The service manager said it could last from now on but could go out again so i had the motor replace also which runs about $900 new at the dealer ($1500 all said and done) . Good luck
