My ac compressor wont turn on, nor my electric fans. Yesterday my ac compressor would flip on and off on and off, now it wont turn on at all. I tried to jump the low pressure switch which usually will tell you if the system is low on freon, which did not work. On suggestions would be greatly appreciated. 06 Silverado.

 

You might try the connector to the compressor

 

It is possible that the compressor clutch doesn't engage due to a weak coil. Has this problem on a 2001 Dodge and a 2001 GMC. Only solution is to replace clutch assembly or complete compressor.

 

Yes. To check it remove the plug, and check for constant voltage at the plug. If it is constant, AND the connection is good, then I suspect the clutch.
