Add camera to 2007 Non-DVD Nav Radio?

I am trying to find out if I can put a backup camera on my 2007 Silverado LTZ. It has the BOSE/Nav radio, but the radio itself does not have the DVD logo nor do I have the RES. I have looked and it seems that all of the writeups are for the DVD bases NAV unit that can handle the RES. I have not pulled the radio to see what model number I have.
Again, I thought I heard a rumor reagrding the LTZ/BOSE Nav units and the ability to unlock other functionality my the dealer. Can any
one shed some light on this?
Thanks..

I also have an '07 LTZ with everything BUT the camera and also wanted to add it (factory - not aftermarket). I had two dealers tell me it can't be done. I asked why since I have the factory Bose/Nav/DVD, etc. and all I should have to do is plug in a cable and run it to the back to a camera. They couldn't really tell me - just that it's not possible. Makes me think they just didn't want to mess with it. If it really is that hard, GM is missing out on some easy money from those of us who want to make factory upgrades - kind of like the lack of being able to add bluetooth to the existing unit and have your calls or ipod operatethrough the stereo and monitor.

I installed a Tahoe Nav.system that was RVC ready. I got a Kenwood CCD2000 & put the camera in a hole I drilled above the bumper. The tail gate & bumper limit your view ,but you can still see very well (Just not up or down) I used the people out of Houston for hook up help. Forgive me I forgot there name, but they were more than helpfull.
