Advice: 2010 2500 LT Gasser has caught my eye.

Hi Everyone,
This is my first post, and I'm stoked to be a member of this forum. I have owned a 2002 Silverado 1500 5.3L before, put over 200,000 miles on it, and it was a pleasure the whole time (minus two pesky fuel pumps). Lately I've been driving a 1967 International Scout as my daily driver. It's a keeper, and my hobby, but recent family changes are putting me in a position where I need a more modern vehicle. Just today, I saw a 2010 2500HD LT 6.0 gasser at a local used lot that really caught my eye. It's got 160,XXX miles on it but presents itself well, with no rust, and the body is straight and clean. The lot was closed so I didn't get to crawl around inside or crank it up and drive it, but I did see enough to peak my curiosity. The sticker price is $13,500. Clean CarFax (no wrecks, 1-owner).
My question for your collective experience and knowledge is whether this would be a viable truck for a mix of daily driving, as well as, minor off-roading...hunting, camping, hauling large purchases from Lowes, etc. I'm sure that the 2500 is probably a little overkill for medium sized hauling, but the truck is just so dang good looking. Any input/advice on this model would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Trey
