OK, I went to lunch and the alarm/ringing sound is back. It is real annoying.

almost sounds like a left over alarm from the last owner. i would have someone turn on the power while your under the dash, and see if you can locate the sound, or the speaker..

good luck

cant be, why would the alarm only be heard in the cab. When I close the door I can not hear it. I wonder if it is like a ntofication of some type.

sounds like an aftermarket alarm of some sort. I realize it is just a sound inside the car so i would go with desrtrat on this one.. locate where the sound is coming from and get rid of it. It is more than likely something aftermarket from the previous owner

OK guys/girls, I found out the sound. Well since I bought this truck from a local small dealer and I am financing it through them they installed a GPS to keep track of me. I took off the instrument panel cover and the found the receiver there. Sure enough started the truck and the recevier was making the sound. They told me that the GPS will do random test to see where I have been. Kind of dumb but I guess it protects their investment on me. So thats it, thanks for all!
