Amber turn Signals for silverado classic

Sorry for the double posting, but thought splitting them might be easier to reply to.
I am buying a CHEVY silverado 2500HD classic next year, and shipping it over to UK.
To make it legal for our roads, I have got to switch or modify the rear turn signals so they flash AMBER and not red.
I spoke to some people who import them american cars and they normally rewire the lights so the reverse light is the turn signal and install a amber coloured bulb. But i would like to make a neater job if possible.
Can anyone point me a direction to BUY a pair of new tail lights (with amber turnsignals) that will fit the silverado classic body. I can find them to fit upto a 2006, but they won't tell me if they will fit the 2007. I know that chevy has made a new body style but they still offer the classic body too. Does any one know if the 2000 year tail lights will fit the classic body?
any help would be great

I am not an expert on this nor have I tried to confirm this at a Chevrolet dealer, but I am wondering if the GM Parts catalog lists an export tail lamp assembly that might work for you. Sorry this isn't much to go on but thought this might aim you in the right direction?

I too can't confirm but the 2003-2006 &(2007 classic)are the same. The 2003-07classic will fit in the old body style so the 2000 should fit in the 07 classic.

Buy a GMC instead of a chevy and you will have them already. If you'd rather have a chevy then buy the GMC tails off eBay for less than $50. They will fit right in because GMC and Chevy are the same truck!!
