Gorilla makes security lug nuts with a special socket.

This is a complete set of lug nuts, not just one locker per wheel.

Protect them from dirt and scratches or from being stolen?

Had a tilt switch on a 1968 SS Nova from NicKey Chevrolet in Chicago. It was called a shaker switch and was pretty sensitive. The wind could set it off if the settings were not right.
NicKey did some AWSOME hop-up work back in the day. My 327 c.i. put out 505hp at the rear wheels!
