Blowing smoke...
Sometimes when I start my truck up it blows smoke out the tail pipe. I want to say its a grayish blue maybe but not 100% sure. It may happen 1 out of every 6 to 8 times. I have 149,000 miles on the truck and I use royal purple oil and 1 qt of lucas oil stabalizer.
Could this be valves leaking?
Should I just sell it or is it a affordable fix??

valves or the valve seals would be my guess... check to see what a set of re-manufactured heads cost or see what rebuild kits cost. at 149k miles, I would think you still have lots of good life left in the vehicle depending on how you treat and maintain it .... that is my 2cents
