To buy or not to buy? 1995 2500
I'm currently looking for a new truck. I would like a 2500 because I don't like putting as much hauling strain on my 1500 as I am. So I found me a 1995 2500. I don't have too much info on it because I want to do research before I go buy. Anyways its a reg cab long bed 4x4. I believe its a 350 maybe even 454. Not diesel. Main area I'm having issues with is that it has 237000 miles. Sellers says he's replaced radiator, heater core, thermostat, rear shocks, upper and lower balljoints, front pads and battery within the last couple months. Also says 0 rust (hmmm??). Its listed for $2800. Anyways I'm wondering if it'll be a good buy and what could go wrong with it in the near future. Thanks!

At 237,000 miles almost anything can break at any time. The major factors are how was it driven and how was it maintained. If you have reliable information that it was serviced regularly and not driven into the ground then it would be a maybe. If you do not have RELIABLE information on servicing and usage I would not touch it. By reliable I mean that you have something else than the sellers word.
If it is a 454 be prepared for really bad fuel economy. I had a 454 that would haul anything you could fit in the bed tow anything you could hook on the hitch but would not pass three gas stations in a row.
