Default CAI for my 85?

hey guys, i need a CAI kit for my 85' silverado
does anybody make them? or could i swap for other years?
it's a carb 350

I know you might be able to make your own with Spectre air filter and tubing. They sell that at autozone sometimes. I have seen a lot of people make their own that way. I really have never heard of a CAI on a carbureted engine.

That won't work. He has an open element. You can get a molded element cover with ducts and either pipe it to the radiator support or to the inner fenders. Most of those CAIs have to be paried with a cowl or ram induction hood.
I'm not saying its impossible to put a modular tube intake on it. Depends largely on the clearance and diameter of the carburator.

Crap. Forgot about that. I think a cowl hood will be the best bet then.

Its easy to forget sometimes, but just remember that pretty much anything older than 1988 is a whole different animal!

look on ebay i had a 85 and there was a shop on there that sold them they were expensive but worth it. it bolted onto your carb and had two outlets for to cold air intakes or on mine i had two snorkels they are sweet!!!
