Default Canadian version differences

My '98 Silverado with 198,XXX miles is a "Canadian" model. I am looking for info on any differences it has compared with U.S models. For example, I'm told that the third door is narrower, but are the main doors wider? Such differences would make a difference in terms of repairs in the event of a collision. Also, mine has a second battery located on the driver's side, but no block heater. I don't know what the second battery is for, and my mechanics don't know, either. I welcome any insights on Canadian model differences.

the only thing u will ever notice that is diferent than american models is the speedo is in KPH, not MPH the third door thing is bull, they are the same if there is something different, it will be minor trim and plastic, nothing mechanical or major
