Really it can not be done EASILY on a OBDII vehicle because the converter is monitored by the computer. Why would you want to eliminate it? You will not gain any power that you can feel.

Welcome to the forum,
Now days with monolithic converters there is little reason to remove them as they are very free flowing, in the older days of pellet catalyst yes they used to restrict flow but now most are monolithic and are designed to last a really long time because of EPA concerns, that is why your exhaust system has such a long "warrenty" period.
Removing the cat for performance is "old school" but it is also old and outdated for vehicles less then 10 years old and sometimes older, I had a 93 step side Chevy that I put headers on and removed the mono cat and it ran like poo without the back pressure of the cat.....
