Daytime Running Lamps
Does anyone else have an issue with one of their DRL not functioning or functioning intermittenly? My passenger-side lamp will occasionally stop functioning. One time the bulb wasn't seated correctly all the way into the socket. But recently again it's not coming on, and it's rather annoying. Have there been problems with the bulb sockets?

I could be wrong on this. If you press on your parking brake one or two clicks does the running lights go out. If so it could be your switch in the parking brake. It happened to a buddy of mine but his was a earlier model z71.

When I start my truck, I immediately turn the headlamp switch all the way to left and then release it. That keeps my DRLs from coming on until I shut off the truck & restart it.
Never tried clicking the parking brake at all, though. Perhaps it is worth a try. I find DRLs to be very annoying.....regardless of any safety benefit they may provide.
