I currently have 3 GM vehicles which use Dexcool. I have seen blogs talking about flushing the Dexcool out and replacing with regular antifreeze. Anyone have any input on this topic? Should this be done? I have a 2003 Silverado, 2003 Monte SS, and a 2005 Grand Am. Should I get rid of the Dexcool?

 

Once on dexcool I would stay with it. Its actually pretty good stuff in my opinion.

 

Dexcool deserves more credit than it has been given. It is a good anti freeze coolant with great anti- corrosion properties. Problems and complaints arise from people... who MIX it with other antifreeze coolants.
