Do 2002 Chevy silverado 1500 5.3L V8 4WD Z71 trucks have CVT transmissions?
Do 2002 Chevy silverado 1500 5.3L V8 4WD Z71 trucks have CVT transmissions? I bought this Lucas Auto Transmission Conditioner for my truck and it says its not for CVT transmissions. So is mine a CVT transmission?

CVT Transmission
No a CVT is a continuously variable transmission, it does not have a first gear, does not have a second or third. ll it has is drive and thru belts it can handle the low end and adjust to continue up to highway speeds, the chevy 4l60e has gears and you can put your fluid in.
