Dual Exhaust

True duals are hard to get for less than $250. 2 Flowmaster 40s alone would be $140-160
If you wanted to go that route though, you can get in custom installed at most exhaust shops for around $140-$180, not including tips or echo chambers.
With the 4.3L, you can go with a single muffler, dual exit. It will still sound really good. I have a 2000 Blazer with a 2.5" Flowmaster single/single and I have not been dissapointed at all. Excellent tone, not obnoxiously loud, I really like them.

Ive got an 08 4.3L with a single in dual out flowmaster on it and it doesn't sound bad at all, but it was $350. I think the price really just depends on where you live and where you go. $350 is cheap around here. Here's a clip if you wanna listen to it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qDqc_V2KWUw
