ENGINE STALLING!!!!!! HELP!!!
6.5L Diesel engine, 1995 Chevrolet Suburban . . . The engine stalls while driving, and it will restart right away. It may not stall again for hours, but then may stall every 5 or 10 minutes. It always restarts, but becomes a random problem. If you have any suggestions plese help, it is a CONSTANT pain!
P.S. The injection pump has been changed several times, and is now out of waranty. If you have any other repairs in mind, I'll try just about anything.
Thanks,
MOsiecki

RE: ENGINE STALLING!!!!!! HELP!!!
When was the last time the fuel filter was replaced? It could be clogged and now allowing fuel to get to the engine. check the fuel line from the tank to the engine to make sure there are no kinks or twists. also check all of your vacuum hoses and the EGR valve. You can get the valve cleaned but it will only work temporarily (2 or 3 months) so it would be betterto just buy a new one.I had the same problem with my truck and after replacing these two parts, the truck ran as good as new.
