Default Extended Mirror question

My Silverado came with DL8 option mirrors and I went to the dealer to buy the correct extension mirror for trailering, when I opened them up, I noticed they have the signals in them as well. My question is, will the signals in the mirrors work when I plug them in?

A little late, but for any one wanting to know the signals in the new mirrors are functional and a great asset when towing a trailer!

I'm not sure, if no one chimes in, I can probably find out in a couple days if you can wait.

The information I've gotten, is they are not a direct fit. I'm not sure why, hopefully that helps.

Yes, all NBS Silverados 1500, 2500, and 3500 use the same mirrors
