Default Fair price for a 2004 Z71

Just wondering if this is a fair price?? I am concerned about paying 9000 for a 121K mile truck.. The body looks very good with no noticeable rust and interior is in good shape.. I will be going to test drive it in a day or two.. Anything specific I should be looking at?? Trouble areas?

I guess that is a typical price for such a truck around here. Try some of the "book value" sites to see what the truck might be worth - or check some of the dealerships that post prices on their web pages.

For what it is worth, I paid $11,900 for my '04 Silverado LS (2wd) almost two years ago........and it had 74,xxx miles on the odometer. I now have 95,000 miles and it runs like a Swiss watch. I was hesitant to buy used, but was not going to part with 30,000 clams for a brand new truck!

The 5.3L engine is probably the best V8 for the half-ton Silverado. If you take care of it, it should last a long, long time. Keep the oil & filter changed and don't dog the hell out of the darn thing.

P.S. The photos sure do look great!

I've had people offer me 11,500 for my 01 5.3 z71 with 180k on the clock so I think it's a fair deal..these motors run forever with proper maintenance
