I have a Gibson on my 98 5.7 and it is just right for me deep rumble at idle but can be heard when pushed.

I just installed a single catback 50 series flowmaster exhaust, and couldn't be happier with the fit, sound, and performance. I bought it from Amazon for under $300.00 with free shipping which was very fast. I highly recommend it.
