Default fouled plugs

hello guys. i am having to replace two plugs (one each side against firewall) every three or four months. they are not oil fouled, they look more like overheating fouled.it is only those two. can it be the egr valve?. only weird thing i notice is a strong gasoline smell every once in a while. any ideas?. thanks

forgot. it is a 94 w/t 4.3L,147,000 miles.

according to the chart i am, in the overheating, deposits, and breakage. all of them related to overheating.is it too hot of a spark ? because the truck itself is not overheating.one of the "reasons" on that chart is too hot to too cool to fast. thats why i ask if it could be a dysfunctional egr valve. when you talk about overheating related to spark plugs, you mean overheating engine or overheated spark combustion?. thanks

I think it is saying you're running to hot a heat range plug.

If you are running the correct plug for your engine, have you dropped the gas octane? If so, I'd think about a colder heat range plug. I'd go one range colder plug.
