Default Frame swap

I'm pretty sure this can be done but I would like some verification. I can drop a regular cab and 8 foot box on to the frame that originally carried an extended cab and a 6 foot box without having to tinker with mounts?

Not without moving some cab mounts and bed mounts attached to the frame. Check wheel base first. They should be close.
