Default Front Suspension TLC

I've noticed my front end handling and suspension has become really loose, wobbly, squishy... over the years and replacing the shocks just doesn't quite to the trick.

What else in addition to shocks should I look at and possibly replace?
Springs? Bushings?....

Any brand of service manual recommendations?

not sure what truck you have or the year and miles. But sounds like the pitman arm and idle arm could be replaced.

yeah, I would say you are pretty much due for rebuild on the front end.

Dont waste you money just replacing everything. If you take the truck to a good alignment shop they will put it up on the lift and tell you everything that needs replaced to get it back up to par. Replace all the parts yourself and pay them the 50-60 $ for the alignment when you are done. That will cover most of it, new bushings for your antisway bar should clean up the rest.

If you plan on keeping the truck and working on it yourself get the service manual from the dealer- expensive but worth it.
